Pride; Choose Love, not Hate

This time's post is a little different... but it's the same old ingenious! In honor of pride month, I would like to share the purpose, struggles, significance and celebration of pride of this time of the year. Keep yourself educated on these times of necessary change, and learn about societal revolutions and development. Celebrate the freedom to express yourself, and celebrate such minorities who have struggled to overcome prejudice and have begun finding their deserved /righteous acceptance. Adapt to the change, and be the change. Pride month is celebrated in commemoration of the stonewall riots/uprising which gave rise to a revolution. There's so much more to it; learn about the connotation carried by the colors of the pride flag, the prejudice, how you can celebrate this pride month and why pride month is celebrated in June.
