Youth Changemaking: Igniting Innovation in the Next Generation

Not to be too self-promotional, but an example of youth changemaking in action is my global youth-led nonprofit organization, Youth 4R^3. This organization is dedicated to transforming the landscape of reproductive healthcare, justice, and menstrual equity. Through empowerment, representation, advocacy, and action, Youth 4R^3 has a roadmap of remarkable milestones ahead of itself including menstrual support in marginalized communities, the dissemination of valuable education and resources, breaking down societal taboos, among other projects that are currently in pursuit!

If there is one message to take away from the rise of youth changemakers, it is that anyone can be one. You don't need a title, a widespread network, or vast resources to make a difference. Start small, identify issues close to your heart, and take action. Especially with the power of social media, the potential for impact is truly great in size. Whether it's volunteering for a cause, supporting local initiatives, or creating your own project, every effort counts.

You’d be surprised to know how many people there are that are willing to help you… and I say this with first-hand experience, considering the number of extremely successful individuals I blindly cold-emailed but received an incredibly supportive response in exchange.
